My students from the South Bronx are curious, enthusiastic and creative and I love to see their eyes light up when they've realized they too can create music. Many of my students come from challenging life circumstances so it is wonderful to see their confidence rise when they are involved in the process of creating music as they become focused, avid learners consuming everything about music they can. It's amazing and heartwarming to watch them grow and be part of the music creating community.

About my class
