In January my students will be excited to return to school and find their classroom re-stocked with supplies. I am requesting basic classroom supplies, such as paper, printer ink, folders, binders, dry erase boards, and daily consumables such as tissues and paper towels. With these basic classroom supplies, my students will start the year with the essential tools for learning. One project we are currently working on to help students improve their writing skills is a classroom book in which each student is allocated a section to write about what they would do if they were a superhero. By working on this project, students can work on their goal of Introducing a topic, stating an opinion, and creating an organizational structure that lists reasons. We'll be brainstorming on dry erase boards and graphic organizers, and storing work in our new binders. My current allocation of funds from the school district and PTO is one $200 staples card for the entire year. The rest of the funding for my classroom comes from my checking account. Help me get my classroom ready for 2019!
