These materials will help my students draft, revise, edit and peer edit their written commentary section of their Civil War and Black history projects. The dry erase markers will be used on their boards for whole group to help them create sentences with vivid verbs and adjectives, They will write the drafts with the pencils, peer edit with the gel pens, and cut and paste, maps, graphics, and time lines with the scissors and book tape.. Having the needed supplies for this daily instruction will not only help enhance their learning, but also enable them to be on the same level playing field as their peers. Since the pandemic boys and girls have various emotional needs and are not as engaged in learning. Researching various topics with their peers will enable them to be more engaged as well as enhance socialization skills with peers.
