All of our students are energetic and enthusiastic about learning. Having the necessary tools like phonic activities and fluency checks will help reinforce viable skills needed to be proficient readers. My students love to work in groups where they can learn from their peers. I would love to have enough resources to be able to send center activities home with my students. This I feel will be a way to reinforce critical foundational skills that will build fluent readers. Engaging in the process of composing and decomposing words gives students power. They gain the powerful skills that will give them the confidence to attack often times difficult text. Having these critical resources will only enhance the learning environment for my students.
