These books will give my students an interesting, coming of age book to read that shows a teen their age going through similar issues they experience everyday. This book provides cross-cultural connections that will show students that we are all connected through the struggles of everyday life. By donating these books to our class, you are providing a group of struggling readers with the opportunity to read a book that is on their level of understanding and fun to read. This book is engaging and humorous, which will provide an opportunity for students laugh while reading, making the experience enjoyable. However, they will never forget the lessons the main character learns as he navigates through the halls of his high school.
