My students are amazing and have such a curiosity about Science. They are in awe of how the world around them is in constant change. Science Books and videos are great and my students and I make great use of all that we have in the class. However, one of the biggest elements lacking in their learning experience is hands-on learning. My students struggle with reading and writing. It is because of these difficulties, that I like to use projects and virtual field trips to enhance my students learning experiences. The projects that I am requesting from National Geographic would not only give my students hands-on knowledge but would keep them engaged and actively participating in their lessons. My students come from varied backgrounds and socioeconomic levels but I am sure they would never be able to afford the experiences that these experiments can give them. Help me to bring these lessons to life for my students.
