Algebra 1 is the foundation for all other math courses that students will encounter. Additionally, in the state of Texas Algebra 1 is a state-tested subject. Students may not graduate high school if they have not passed their End of Course exam. For these reasons it is imperative that students receive the best possible instruction in this subject. For many students, the best possible instruction includes a classroom environment that physically meets their needs. This project will provide 5 standing desks, 4 stability balls, and 6 bouncy bands to a classroom full of fidgety/energetic students.The idea is that these materials satisfy our scholars' need for movement while freeing their minds for learning.
