I have students that require special accommodations in my classroom. I teach students with processing disorders that greatly benefit from listening to stories. I also have the pleasure of teaching children with visual impairments, and listening to stories and music is not only educational, but calming. I am asking for a mobile listening center with storage as well as some store and connect book bins to organize our materials. My students can also use the Listening Center to access their math and social studies lessons on the Ipads. This would be an incredible gift because the children would have a designated place to quietly access stories, music, curriculum, and text. Having a Listening Center in my classroom would be like having our own little digital library right there in the room.
