Students will work on their college essays (or applications) using the tablets. Through Google Docs, they will be able to share their writing process with a real audience (their peers). Together they will discuss, analyze, add, and revise their writing, being able to modify and adapt the changes, all happening in the classroom in real time. Reinforcing 21st century skills, such as collaborating with a team, and making sure their voice is heard. Tablets are not bulky and will increase the level of digital citizenship students entering the college level, and real world need. They will collaborate and get feedback from each other, not wasting time waiting for time to pass.
