Having hands-on models for my students is very engaging for them and helps to bring the curriculum alive. For a subject like Anatomy, it is very helpful to have a visual representation of what you are learning to be able to make the important connections needing for permanent learning. Many of my students desire careers in healthcare but do not have the prior exposure or self esteem to push themselves to go to nursing school or med school. I am hoping with these additions to class that it will open doors for them and push them to see what else is out there.
