With iPad's, my students will be able to read an extensive library that best matches student interests and abilities. I can differentiate math, writing, reading, social studies and science using a more efficient and effective modality. My students can grow in their learning in critical thinking, problem solving and technological knowledge in safe and connective means. They will have opportunities to learn about current events, moments in past history, and additional important topics according to their interests and matching to the curriculum. Students will be able to increase their familiarity and skill in different aspects of technology to become digital citizens. With their increased opportunity to learn through their modality of choice, it creates more chances for students to connect to their learning, having a stronger chance of retention. My students will have a source for creativity to show and express their learning. Research supports students learning through technology in the classroom. The opportunities with these new materials are limitless and I cannot wait to see the amazing things my students will accomplish with them, once given the chance to soar.
