These clear sneeze guard desk shields will make a difference in my classroom. Currently, the guards on their desks have a two inch white border around the edges. This prevents students from being able to see the Promethean board without moving their chairs to various areas before the lesson begins. This also takes away instructional time. The clear sneeze guard desk shields will allow students to stay at their desks and see the board at the same time, which will not only keep them socially distant from each other, but also save instructional time. We spend so much time either moving chairs or transitioning to the carpet in order for everyone to be able to see. It's hard to keep them distanced from each other on the carpet. The microphone headset will help students hear me better when I'm teaching. It's difficult to talk loud behind a mask and also be heard over my air conditioning unit.
