I work in an inclusive environment where many of my students learn differently from the typical class and desk style of learning. My students are also experiencing the growing pains where their bodies are slowly changing from being little kids to becoming adults. I want to create a classroom where students can be in their best comfortable learning environment. This year I noticed more than ever students fidgeting in their seats constantly. It made me realize that there is a strong need to support my students comfort and struggles they have learning when their bodies are not comfortable. I am hoping that with this project my students will not only be comfortable within the classroom but they will feel safe and at home. In this new environment, I want my students to thrive because they are excited about learning. I feel that these small changes can help increase the learning and emotional growth of my students. They will look forward to coming to school and be able to be more productive in the comfort of a new and improved learning environment. Thank you for your support.
