I work with an adorable group of students in a low-income school in New York. I am a Special Education teacher and my students are multiply-handicapped. Multiple-handicaps manifest themselves in a variety of ways and most of my students are cognitively and physically impaired. That being said, they are a lovable, wonderful bunch of kids with amazing senses of humor and a variety of impressive talents and skills. They all love to play and laugh and I feel lucky and impressed by their hearts and their determination every day I spend in the classroom with them.
