Having this beautiful rug in our classroom will benefit the kids in more than one way. First, they will be able to have a clean, safe, and beautiful place to sit or lay while they read their favorite books. This rug will also be used through out the day for morning circle and whole class activities. Next, seeing the rug covered in beautiful leaves will help the kids connect to nature. They are used to seeing only numbers and letters and having this different rug in our classroom will be a positive change in their school environment. I am some of these kids only brightness and positivity in their life. This rug will be a place where we can all sit and learn math and science and all those important subjects, but it will also be a place where we interact and talk and share our thoughts and feelings and they can get to know me and trust me as a caregiver.
