Pitchcar will serve in a twofold purpose within my class. In addition to reinforcing lessons on inertia, energy, and friction, the Pitchcar activity will also serve as an incentive for students to work towards. Pitchcar will serve as fantastic reward for work well done! Focussed Instructional Time (FIT) is a period set aside each day for students to get additional help with academic areas they need assistance. It also serves as a time when students can be acknowledged and receive awards for successes they have experienced in the classroom. It is my goal to see that Pitchcar will serve both of these purposes.
