Thank you for taking an interest in helping our future scientists! Our students spend most of their day at school sitting in their chairs. Unfortunately, we don't have the correct size chairs for their growing bodies. We have a mixture of tiny chairs and big chairs, making it hard for my students to be comfortable. This affects their behavior and concentration. I have seen the success flexible seating options have had in other classrooms. Students are more engaged and the disruptions in the classroom are less. Flexible seating will allow my students to be comfortable and allow them to succeed in the classroom. The beanbag chair will transform our library area into a more engaging reading corner. Students will look forward to library time instead of dreading it. The Flex-space collaborative floor work space bundle will help my small group area be more comfortable and will increase my students' focus. This will allow them to concentrate more on the material rather than on their lack of comfort. The wobble chairs will be amazing for my ADHD students. They like to move around but often disrupt their classmates. The wobble chairs will allow them the freedom to wiggle and move without bothering their peers. Please help provide flexible seating options for our classroom. My 2nd grade scientists and I appreciate your generous donations!
