By having a class iPad, my students will gain access to completely new ways of engaging with math. Presentation tools such as Doceri could effectively grant us a mobile whiteboard for both myself and the students to use from any location in the classroom. Anything a student or I has displayed on the projector can further be uploaded online for students to access later or even directly transmitted to their phones by means such as AirDrop. In addition, there is a slew of apps available to provide individualized practice for students who need a different approach to math. An iPad can personalize learning and bring fun to a challenging subject like math. I fully expect my students will be kept engaged and excited about learning when they can start using a wide variety of learning materials and apps available for the iPad.
