This iPad will be a great help for my students to calm down when they are sad or having meltdowns by listening to their favorite music. Music is the strength of children with autism. It improves their social communication and auditory-motor connectivity. My students start their day with greeting songs for teachers and friends. They learn social cues and social language through songs. Music is a potential therapeutic aid when there are behavioral problems and is very useful for a smooth transition from playing in the centers to cleaning up and transitioning to the playground.
