These materials will provide a, colorful, comfortable, and creative environment to make masterpieces with the proper art supplies. For example, for comfort my students need a nice clean carpet. I often read artistic stories to them in which they have to sit on the cold tile floor to see the imagery. In addition, with the lack of supplies, the students don't have the colors (in color pencils, crayons, and paint) to create what they envision. Lastly there is some storage issues which causes students art work to get damaged. If my classroom finally has a drying rack, their wet paintings will be less likely to get damaged. My students are in a low income area and are often upset and frustrated with the lack of materials to create what they envision. Instead of creating, they often get upset and argue over supplies. With these supplies I will have a much safer and happier environment to create.
