These centers in English would help my students acquire basic and important vocabulary to improve their English language skills. Spanish is their first language so they need more resources to learn the curriculum and content in English. These materials would be used during guided reading block. While the teacher meets with small groups, the rest of the students are working at different stations. The word puzzles would help my students learn words with short sounds and different word families. The sight word centers would help them practice the use of those words in sentences practicing their writing skills. The students work in groups collaboratively and independently in charge of their own These centers would keep the students engaged and interested in the different activities offered at each station. They will be having fun and learning at the same time.
