Many of our students (myself included) lost a lot during Hurricane Michael - homes, personal items, and supplies. I have been working tirelessly to replace not only my own things, but those that students have lost. We have tried to keep things normal in our classroom, and even wrote a grant to get a class pet. My students are always willing to go above and beyond for others, and I would like to repay that generosity by giving to them. We are always appreciative of any assistance we receive and will pay this forward in the form of sending out solid citizens in the community. My students would benefit immensely from the use of floor cushions since our classroom setting is very informal and cozy. We often use "flash practice" to cover vocabulary content, so the whiteboard flash signs would be such a great addition to our supply cabinet. Can't have flash boards without new markers, so we are requesting a set of those as well. We are looking forward to using all of our new supplies in the coming school year!
