My high school is incorporating Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports. One of the key components of PBIS is to showcase the good in our students to prevent misbehaviors. I want to foster positive behaviors by celebrating and displaying my students' successes on a wall through photography. What will my students strive to accomplish if we use a polaroid camera to capture their victories and hang it on a classroom wall? I believe that this addition to my classroom will cause my students to put more effort into projects, focus on progress-not perfection, and even prevent senior-itis. I want my students to encourage each other to do and be their best. Using a Polaroid camera to photograph their achievements will encourage students to grow as pupils and as young adults.
