Many of my students do not have access to computers at home. Our limited resources at school does not give them enough time with technology to develop the computer literacy that they will need to succeed in the 21st century. Your generous donation will give my students a set of Chromebooks for the classroom that they can use every day for research, writing, language games, and more. Having computers on hand will provide my students with another avenue into language learning. These Chromebooks will add to the variety of instruction they receive and increase their motivation to learn. Having Chromebooks in the classroom will help them learn a wide variety of skills and express themselves in many different ways. My students have already used technology to do research, write stories and reports, and create multimedia slideshows. With greater access to technology, they will be able to improve their research and writing skills. They will also have more opportunities to express themselves by creating videos and building websites. By funding this project, you will be helping my students improve their English, foster their creativity, and develop their computer literacy. Not only will you be helping them grow as people, but you will also be giving them the boost they need for greater academic success.
