Students investigate the world around them. By interacting with each other, completing science investigations, they get excited. They will be curious as they enter the classroom to see what exciting activities will be taking place today. Excitement encourages curiosity which leads to questions which leads to research done independently. The students will become lifelong learners. It starts with a spark and that’s what I am trying to do with this furniture. By replacing the desks with science lab tables, the students will be transformed into scientists as they enter the classroom. Having tables to work at will encourage teamwork and communication, key components in the 21st-century workplace.
