After I teach a new skill, my students participate in center rotations. This is our favorite part of the week! It allows students to work in small groups to complete educational tasks on the new skill. Since students in my classroom vary greatly in their literacy needs and ability levels, these centers give multiple opportunities for children to read, write, and participate in meaningful literacy experiences. My favorite part of center time is watching my wonderful students interact with each other in an academic environment. They truly love to learn! While my students are busy mastering a new skill, I am able to pull struggling students for one-on-one intervention. This center time allows me to greatly differentiate the learning in my classroom. By donating to our project, you will help students develop social skills, as well as help us increase our academic achievement. Your donation will help buy new reading board games to implement during center rotations. I have chosen games that incorporate skills that are hard for most students to master. This exciting learning opportunity will be sure to help me in teaching these skills. My current and future students are so grateful for your donation!
