This unit will make a difference in my library because students will be able to not only learn the engineering design process but also get to have fun while building and constructing a product to share with others. The kit includes lesson plans that I will follow during information literacy classes. The students will first explore the properties of bubbles. Then they will learn about the different materials available to create a bubble wand. Finally, they will engineer the wand. Students with an engineering brain need access to projects in school that allow them to build and construct. These are the students that may someday build the products that change the world.
