Our classroom is looking to use Chromebooks to learn, explore, and see beyond the walls of our classroom. The computers allows us to communicate with others beyond our community as well as to read about and learn from others through the experiences they share. In our society, that is so driven by social media, it is imperative students learn to use computers effectively and responsibly. Mental health is a key issue in all areas at this time and access to social media and news resources is something students at all ages need to learn to filter and use appropriately. Through the use Chromebooks in our classroom we will work to find resources on the computers that allow for research, learning, and exploring about others. We will work continue to work on developing empathy and understanding for others.
