I'm a firm believer that when a child's basic needs are met, they are more likely to be successful. Not all families can afford basic supplies like backpacks and pencils, but having those items makes each student feel empowered and excited to be at school. Without them, students often have lower self-esteem and therefore have a harder time staying focused on their academics. Unfortunately, I'm unable to buy basic items for all my students, which is why I need your help!

About my class
