Computers and technology are a huge part of the world around us. My students are unique learners and need opportunities to explore the technology around them. With the use of Chromebooks in the classroom my students would learn important computer skills like typing. Because of their disabilities, many of my students are unable to write with a pencil and paper. This should not limit their ability to express themselves through writing. Learning to type would be an awesome way for them to participate in their classwork. The Chromebooks would also help us work on basic skills like following directions and letter identification. The possibilities are endless!
