I am looking to raise funds to purchase multiple books on different grade levels for them to read and also to purchase a carpet that we can all sit on for story time. Having a wide assortment of books will help me keep the students interested in reading and help to reinforce their love of learning. It helps to have a wide variety of topics available for the students while they are still learning about what they love to read. The carpet is because so often I have found in my career that changing the environment an activity is done in helps children to re-engage in their learning and help maintain focus when they might be otherwise distracted. Please help me keep my students energized and excited about reading!
