The books that I am requesting will be used to help my students LOVE to read. They will be in the classroom and used when we do independent reading as well as be available to be borrowed for students to read at home with a caretaker. The students will be able to bring home a book that they are familiar with and share with their families. The titles selected will help students learn to be kind and caring and help them develop an appreciation for the differences that make each of them unique.
