Double-sided dry-erase boards will allow my students to practice math, reading and writing skills within the classroom setting. Dry-erase boards are excellent for use in a multitude of activities, including whole-group work, small groups and centers and individual practice. Dry-erase boards are great tools for children because they allow children to learn, make mistakes and practice skills until they are successful! Kindergartners practice phonics and beginning spelling skills using dry erase boards during our literacy block. They allow children to practice writing words in sentences during writer's workshop. The students also use them for math skills, including writing numbers, making patterns and learning to write equations. Having these new materials will allow kindergartners to learn more efficiently across a variety of subject areas.
