Have you ever fallen in love.....with a book? That's my goal this year! I want my students to love to read! Reading opens doors to opportunities! Every year, I encounter students who would rather watch tv or a video instead of read. Well, this year I plan on changing that! I am an avid reader, and I lead by example. We spend time each day reading in a place that is comfortable and relaxing. I need more books and several copies of those books! With this project, I can do just that! I've shared with my students how I first fell in love with reading - and the fact that I could talk about it with a friend who also read it was key! Through this project, including comfy floor seats, I am encouraging my students to read together and talk together about books! Please help me make this come true!
