This project will enable 6 young men to participate in 6 weeks of intensive workshops geared towards preparing them for the realities that await them in high school and beyond. They will first learn about themselves, and then apply this knowledge to career exploration and preparation and financial literacy. They will then create a 60-90 second personal commercial to summarize their skills, talents and achievements. Our students will also learn about business plans, resumes, and interviews. This experience will culminate in a community service project in which they utilize these knew skills to identify and then implement a local project.
