I am requesting a washer/dryer combo unit to use in our simulated work place salon. We are a full service teaching salon that affords my students the opportunity to prepare for their future careers with hands-on training in cosmetology. Our daily routine in the teaching salon generates a lot of laundry like towels, capes and lab coats that must be sanitized daily. As part of our simulated workplace, cleaning and laundry are a part of our employability skills that prepare students for employment. Most students do not realize the importance of cleaning and sanitizing daily to maintain salon compliance with our state board standards.

About my class
