The speakers I am hoping to receive will happily take the place of a tangle of cords, haphazard dinosaur speakers that sometimes work, sometimes don't. Whether I am playing Enya, to soothe hurt feelings or Beyonce to spontaneously erupt into an all out dance fest- music is a language that all genres speak. New speakers would benefit EVERY student. I am humbled and amazed at the sheer natural talent of my students despite never holding a racquet in their hand. Many have enjoyed basketball, football yet very few have had the joy of playing badminton. Despite playing with broken birdies, bent rackets and making do with a volley ball net held together with a jump rope ... our students LOVE badminton. New equipment would benefit all students.
