My students have very little access to reliable ICT technology outside of school, therefore their exposure to technology is limited. During my project students will use the iPads to learn programming language via the Swift Playground Software. Swift Playground is a free app that uses a gamification to teach coding language. Some of the anticipated combined benefits of using iPads and Swift Playground are: 1)the gaming environment will both motivate and making learning programming language more accessible to students 2) students will strength their computational thinking skills and creativity 3) immersion into computer sciences will better prepare students for the future 21st Century job markets.
