The bulk of the materials I have requested are art-based materials. The students I currently have enjoy the art crafts that we do. These materials will help foster creativity in my students and will help build their confidence and self-esteem. They will be able to use the materials purchased to express themselves creatively. I have many students who have English as their second language. They are more comfortable expressing themselves through art. It is very rewarding to see their faces shine with excitement when they share their work with their peers even though they cannot necessarily communicate verbally.

About my class
