In my description of my kiddos I said they were movers and shakers in every sense of those words. Morning work is a beneficial time of the day where they are able to get into the groove of school as well as practicing different skills. However, morning work can seem daunting and frustrating to kiddos who are struggling to learn the skill. Interactive morning tubs however open up that time for them to play and interact with the skill in a way that is more apt to the way that a lot of my kiddos learn. By including a variety of reading and math manipulatives, my kiddos will get to practice the skills they need assistance in mastering as well as getting to play with the materials in the way they wish they could during our reading and math times! I also hope this will encourage cooperative play with each other as well.
