My kindergarten students are full of energy and are ready to explore. For many of my students, kindergarten is their first experience in the classroom. It is important for them to explore and discover how they learn best! Providing a flexible environment for my students will help them to grow as learners and leaders. I teach in a small 20' x 20' classroom and began making the transition to flexible seating last year. I found that my students were able to thrive by making choices in the classroom. My school serves a population of diverse learners and having the space for them to regulate makes a significant difference in the classroom.
