These seats will make a difference in my students’ learning by allowing them to comfortably sit on tiled floor while learning key skills to be successful, lifelong learners. This will be used in the classroom. The seats will be used during read alouds, lessons, calendar time, modeling, etc. Students cannot be grouped at desks either, so these floor seats are the main way I can create classroom community. The students will be able to hear me more clearly, which is also essential for their development. Finally, it’s beneficial to have students change their spot in the classroom to keep them engaged.
