Students are required to read 20 minutes daily as part of their English Language Arts Class. A majority of my students are English Language Learners who need quality headphones to help teach literacy, pronunciation and fluency. Most of my students qualify for Free or Reduced Lunch. Many of them are refugees who are trying to make a better life for themselves. I want to provide quality headphones to my students so that they can compete with other schools in Texas. Currently, their test scores are well below the States average. I believe a good pair of headphones is a start!
