Many students in 5th grade are very shy when it comes to speaking in class. I strongly believe that all students should have the opportunity to see how valuable their voice is and understand that other students can learn volumes from what they have to say. This throwable microphone will encourage many of the shyer students to want to participate and make it easier to hear them throughout the room. I am preparing my students to grow into the leaders who will speak truth to power. Participating in engaging and fun classroom discussions is the first step in their journey.

About my class
