Currently in my classroom, my library is geared towards higher readers. With these materials, my students can read on their level and to the best of their ability. My students can work on their reading comprehension skills, vocabulary skills, and inferential skills with books that they can read and make sense of. Having these resources will help my students succeed in their journey as readers, especially as a ENL student. My students will be able to move up levels and enjoy what they are reading. They will have more of a interest in their reading and this will lend it self to students enjoying reading across curriculum.
