Students are more likely to succeed if they have a choice in how they learn. This is something I truly believe. We started the year with traditional chairs and tables. I quickly noticed this was not working for my students. When given the chance they were all sitting on the few pillows or comfortable chairs I already had in the classroom. Sometimes they even sit under the tables and lean on their chairs! This project will give my students more options for seating around the room. A classroom is like a second home for students. I want my students to feel comfortable in the classroom and feel like they have ownership of their learning. Having the flexible seating in my room will give my students the choice they need and the ability to collaborate more. Please help these students grow as learners!
