The study carrels and noise-reduction ear muffs will allow students the opportunity to read in a distraction-free zone so they can escape into the imaginary world the authors create for them. The more involved students are in reading, the more likely they are to become life-long learners who experience all the benefits reading provides. By providing these noise reduction ear muffs and study carrels, donors will be helping my students to focus more easily on their self-selected reading materials. The more focused and engaged students are in what they read, the more likely it is that they will become more successful readers.

About my class
