Currently, my class has only one working computer and a printer. Providing my students with chromebooks will allow them to listen to stories both in English/Spanish, it will also help them to do research projects in class since at home they do not have many resources. Overall, technology will make learning more engaging and fun in the classroom. With these new chromebooks, my students will be able to access a reading library provided by our reading program. Then they will be able to select from a variety of book selections based on the theme of the unit. They will choose to hear a book in English/ Spanish as is read to them and the words are highlighted.
