My students gain more and more confidence with reading each day. As their confidence grows, I'd love to surround them with books that reflect their diverse backgrounds and interests. Some of the books included in my dream library list are about children from Mexico, just like many of my students. All of the books contain important lessons for young people that challenge them to think beyond their own experiences. These diverse books will help encourage a love of reading that will follow my students throughout their lives. They will grow as readers, learners, and observers of the world as they delve into new and exciting books. My students will be able to choose books that they are interested in and further their love of reading.
