Students will be able to wash their clothes and their younger siblings' clothes at school and be able to attend after school sports and clubs instead of doing laundry at the laundromat which is difficult and too expensive for many. Having washers and dryers at school will allow my students to come to school and concentrate on learning instead of worrying that they look dirty or that their clothes smell. Right now sometimes kids stay home rather than come in dirty. We surveyed the students and more than half responded that they would do their laundry at school if they had the ability to do so.
